Ο Συγκριτικός βαθμός(Comparative) χρησιμοποιείται όταν θέλουμε να συγκρίνουμε δύο πράγματα,ζώα ή πρόσωπα κ.λ.π.: ‘Οταν το επίθετο μας είναι μονοσύλλαβο ή δισύλλαβο που τελειώνει σε –οw,-er,-y , τότε προσθέτουμε –er + than στο τέλος του επιθέτου Π.x.
