WHAT DOES DANCING OFFER TO YOUNG PEOPLE? Dancing means health, wellness, joy and fun. It also helps young people release stress and tension. Most importantly, when we dance, we have fun!
WHAT ABOUT GREEK TRADITIONAL DANCES? WHY ARE THEY SPECIAL? Greek traditional dances offer entertainment, communication and exercise. But above all, for greek people dancing is a means of expressing emotions.
WHICH IS THE BEST AGE TO START TRADITIONAL DANCE LESSONS? A child is mature enough to start dancing lessons from the age of 5 or 6.
IS WEIGHT IMPORTANT FOR DANCING LESSONS? Anybody can learn to dance. Of course, the less our weight is, the easier our movements become. Some people start dancing lessons to lose weight.
WHAT ARE THE MOST POPULAR GREEK DANCES? Some of the most known dances are Syrtos, ο Kalamatianos and Xasapiko. Our foreign friends may watch the videos! SyrtosKalamatianosXasapiko
HOW DID YOUR CAREER START? When I was 10 years old I went to a local public club to learn traditional dances. I continued the lessons until I went to University. I studied Physical Education and the specialization I chose was dancing. Eventually I became a dance teacher.
ΤΙ ΡΟΛΟ ΠΑΙΖΕΙ Ο ΧΟΡΟΣ ΣΤΗ ΖΩΗ ΣΑΣ; Ο χορός είναι ένα πολύ σημαντικό μέρος της ζωής μου. Μέσα από τον χορό μπόρεσα και μπορώ ακόμα και σήμερα να ξεπεράσω πολλά προβλήματα. Συμβουλεύω τα νέα παιδιά να ασχοληθούν με το χορό. Έτσι θα μείνουν μακρυά από κακές συνήθεις όπως τα ναρκωτικά κ.α.
