The word γιατί means either why or because.

She says: I do not want his car.

It means at or in.

He says: your table is at my house.
Το τραπέζι σου είναι στο σπίτι μου.
Ask again: why is my table at your house?
Γιατί είναι το τραπέζι μου στο σπίτι σου.
He says: because I do not have a table.
Γιατί δεν έχω τραπέζι.
Then you say: you have a table.
Έχεις τρπέζι.
You have my table.
Έχεις το τραπέζι μου.
We will use the word και to mean also.
