Writing also focuses on : genre : conventions and constraints of different types of writing texts, intended audience, purpose of writing, layout, style, register, language choices and lexical features, etc. process : pre-writing techniques, e.g. brainstorm ideas, sort and order ideas, just start writing on the topic (freewriting), focus on models, etc. post-writing techniques, e.g. edit and prepare final text.
