Οι λαμπαδηφόροι του Ιπποκράτη

Στη θαυμαστή πορεία τη μεγάλη άσβεστη φλόγα των πυρσών φωτίζει στοργή, φροντίδα κι ανθρωπιά δωρίζει στη σκληρή, την αέναη την πάλη. Απ’ την άκρη της γης τη μια, στην άλλη πίστη κι αγάπη στις καρδιές ανθίζει κι ό,τι το πνεύμα κι όρκος τους ορίζει άφθαρτο πάντα στους αιώνες θάλλει. Την προσφορά τους πως ν’ αποτιμήσεις τον πόνο της ψυχής σαν απαλύνουν, έργα τους πως μπορείς να τα σταθμίσεις σαν του κορμιού μας τις πληγές τις κλείνουν; Της «Άσπρης Μπλούζας» Διγενείς στ’ αλώνια δεν λογαριάζουν θύελλες και χιόνια. φώτης παυλάτος

Κεφαλονιά

Στον κάθε μισεμό μου στο κάθε μου ταξίδι μαζί μου παίρνω προσκεφάλι τα κίτρινα τα σπάρτα σου κι έχω για πάντα φυλαχτό στο μόχθο μου, στην πάλη, μια ιχιά απ’ ασφαλαχτό. Όλα σου τα μυστήρια είναι για μένανε λυμένα κι από τσης γης τα πέρατα μ’ ευχές μαζί και προσευχή τ’ Αγίου στέλνω φχαριστήρια με την καρδιά και την ψυχή. Κι είν’ άσβεστος ο πόθος μου κι είναι καημός μεγάλος να ‘ρτω ξανά σε σένανε καντάδα, μαντολίνο, μπάλος. Ψηλά ν’ ανέβω στο βουνό να πιω ρομπόλα απ’ το ληνό. Οι πόλεμοι τελειώσανε και στα λιμάνια δεν αργούν οι στόλοι ο βγενικός μονάχα μένει πόλεμος ανάμεσα Ληξούρι κι Αργοστόλι, τρελός, αιώνιος και γελαστός και πάντα στην παράδοση πιστός. Κεφαλονιά, λεύτερο πνεύμα, πάντα νια!
