The average size of the cicadas is 2-5 cm…

…but the record size can be up to 15 cm and their wings can be 18 cm !

The cicada leaves the Nymph skin and becomes the adult Cicada

Cicadas live in the warm countries, on all continents (but NOT on Antarctica) There are many species of Cicada, but the small cicada usualy lives about 2 years. The other ones, even 17 years !
