Με το Mechanism design μελετάται ο σχεδιασμός συστημάτων έτσι ώστε η ιδιοτελής συμπεριφορά των κόμβων να καταλήγει στους επιθυμητούς στόχους του συστήματος.

12 21/12/2005 Επόμενα Βήματα Εις βάθος μελέτη και συνοπτική περιγραφή τους. Προσδιορισμός παραγόντων εφαρμογής τους, καθώς και πώς αντιμετωπίζουν τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηριστικά των p2p συστημάτων (large scale, churn, zero-cost identity, collusions etc.) Σύγκριση των αποτελεσμάτων τους με γνώμονα πόσο συνεισφέρουν στην από κοινού χρήση πόρων άλλα και πώς επηρεάζουν την αποδοτικότητα του συστήματος. Ανοικτά θέματα προς έρευνα.
