7 Tragedy is a form of drama based on human suffering that invokes in its audience an accompanying catharsis or pleasure in the viewing. The word "tragedy" derives from (Classical Greek τραγῳδία), contracted from trag(o)-aoidiā = "goat song", which comes from tragos = "he-goat" and aeidein = "to sing".

8 Panic is a sudden sensation of fear which is so strong as to dominate or prevent reason and logical thinking, replacing it with overwhelming feelings of anxiety and frantic agitation consistent with an animalistic fight-or-flight reaction. Panic may occur singularly in individuals or manifest suddenly in large groups as mass panic (closely related to herd behavior).The word panic derives from the Greek πανικός, "pertaining to shepherd god Pan", who took amusement from frightening herds of goats and sheep into sudden bursts of uncontrollable fear. The ancient Greeks credited the battle of Marathon's victory to Pan, using his name for the frenzied, frantic fear exhibited by the fleeing enemy soldiers.

11 ΤΟ ΓΡΑΜΜΑ ΣΤΗΝ ΠΟΡΤΟΓΑΛΙΑ Επικοινωνήσαμε και γίναμε πρεσβευτές της Ελληνικής γλώσσας.
We are scholars in a pedagogic senior gumnasium in Larissa, a town in the centre of Hellas, the basis of democracy, European civilization and political systems. Larissa is a fantastic and philoxenous town, a metropolis of Thessaly, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Moreover, the climate is fantastic. Larissa is near Olympus, the mountain of gods according to mythology. On the top of the mountain there was the gods’ palace. The gods were twelve: Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Hestia, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes and later on Dionysus, who took the place of Hestia. Our history is full of epical figures of heroes such as Hercules, Achilles, Leonidas to mention but a few. Let us have a prologue of what Hellas has offered to this world. The history of ancient Greece, as our country is called by many people, is generally gigantic and simultaneously magic. In ancient times, The Greeks formed polymorphous ideas concerning democracy, philosophy, psychology, medicine, theatre, politics and other sciences.

12 The genesis of democracy in that epoch is of unparalleled character, Greek skepticism generated the basis of philosophy that reached its climax in classical times. Among the most famous philosophers are Socrates, Plato, Aristotles. In psychology they formed the basis of psychological doctrines. The father of medicine is Hippocrates whose monument is in Larissa, our town. The oath that doctors are asked to take is practically a hymn to his practices and policies. It is historically and chronologically proven that theatre comes from pedagogy, idealism and harmony. The panoramic fantasy, the mystique, the melody, the aesthetics, the use of cosmetic epithets, the choreography are characteristics of drama. Hellas faces economic problems leading to crisis and agonizes to solve them with dynamism as a prophylaxis from chaos and catastrophe that are looming. We try not to panic, though. We generally have a zeal to follow a scheme and strategy to triumph over any crisis. It is an irony for us to be led to a parody of our ideology. The Greek people agonize over a dilemma about which politician can free us from the problematic situation and economic crisis. In our epilogue we emphasize our skepticism about the horizons of our system and make a prognosis that the symptoms of democratic paralysis will atone. We apologize for having tyrannized you with our Hellenic phraseology.

15 Το Μάιο του 2010, ο σκηνοθέτης Ζαν Λικ Γκοντάρ, αρνείται να παρευρεθεί στο φεστιβάλ των Κανών σε ένδειξη συμπαράστασης προς την Ελλάδα και δηλώνει: «Όλοι χρωστάµε λεφτά στην Ελλάδα. Οι Έλληνες θα μπορούσαν να απαιτήσουν από τον σύγχρονο κόσμο χιλιάδες δισεκατομμύρια για πνευματικά δικαιώματα».

16 ΠΡΟΒΛΗΜΑΤΙΣΤΗΚΑΜΕ... ρωτήσαμε και πήραμε απαντήσεις σε ερωτήσεις πάνω στο θέμα μας. επισκεφτήκαμε το Κέντρο Ελληνικής Γλώσσας (Θεσσαλονίκη, 22/3/2012) παίρνοντας συνέντευξη από τους υπεύθυνους.
