Are there any points specific to Greek Higher Education system that are not covered by the Agreement template? Everything can be handled, no particular points that cannot be addressed by the Institution.

Points of discussion: accreditation Who, in your opinion, should qualify assess and/or accredit the Joint Program? Two stage process: internal, external Ask the former graduates their opinion of the program, especially from Master graduates

Points of discussion: accreditation External assessment VS internal quality assurance of the Joint Program, where should priority be given? External assessment as there are different countries involved 50-50 Self quality assured by the nature of the program (External evaluation is impossible without internal)

Points of discussion: recognition Should there be different approach to JD recognition rather than applying different national rules? There should be a European Accreditation Agency and the National Agency should be obliged to follow it’s decision

Points of discussion: recognition What means and measures can be applied by HEIs/consortium that would foster recognition of JD? “Know very well what we are doing and with whom we are doing it”. To secure recognition, the HEI interested to have a Joint Program with another Institution, has to have a very clear knowledge as to the status of the HEI they are considering cooperating with, as well their recognition process, before they go on with the actualization of the Joint Program Knowing rules

Points of discussion: finances How to secure financing for the JD initiative? (European, national, institutional, external, stakeholders) No way to secure financing Tuition Fees Use research funds Attract mid career student – companies can pay the fees of their students

Points of discussion: finances How finances should be divided among partners? What in your opinion, would be the best way to manage consortium funds? The coordinator should be given the funds to be able to run the consortium. The partners should be given a part according to the courses.
